Crows Cage / Bio

Crows Cage is currently ranked #1 on Reverb Nation’s local chart and #66 on the national chart and rapidly rising. Which is no surprise given this, fast paced; modern rock/metal four man masterpiece has been making quite a buzz in the Central NY region since the release of their first album “FORGIVEN SINS” in the Fall of 2013. This hard hitting, in your face new release has a clean, tight sound that gives you exactly what you are looking for in a modern day hard rock album. Drawing inspiration from the early days of metal to the grundgy sounds of the 90’s, from the first note to the last “FORGIVEN SINS” brings an intense energy that gets in your head and leaves you wanting more. “To describe the sound of Crows Cage, it has familiar elements to it, and yet they have a sound that is distinctly their own. Dark, brooding, dirty, and infectious.” Says Hellionrocks.com. Following the release of their debut album, Crows Cage, released music videos for songs such as “Derivation”, “Grindstone” and “American Monster” blowing up with an average of 100 views per day.

The three founding members Tommy Rose (bass), Clint Greer (drums) and Aaron Bellows (guitar) have been playing together for nearly a decade and had been looking for just the right front man to complete their project. In 2012 the search for the fourth and final member was over with the addition of EJ Carrara (vocals). “We just knew from day one he was the fit we were looking for” says Aaron “he brings an incredible vocal range and energy that we needed.” With mutual desire and enthusiasm among the members, Crows Cage collectively creates original hard rock music that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. The members of Crows Cage all share the same deep passion for music which is clear when you listen to any of their tracks. “The chemistry allowed the music to flow over the crowd and melt some faces and blow some minds.” Jim Gilbert UpstateMetal.net.

Crows Cage has a full resume including performances with artists such as Taproot, Skid Row, Non-Point, Candlebox and Tantric. One of their most profound performances was when they humbly accepted the great honor of playing for the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum Army base in Upstate NY. “These guys have played, and more than held their own onstage, with some of the bigger names in hard rock and metal. Their music gets into your head and implants itself into your very soul with style, power, wicked driving beats from drummer Clint Greer and bassist Tommy Rose, the guitar-virtuosity of Aaron Bellows and the powerful voice of EJ Carrara.” says David Garlow via Examiner.com.

“Crows Cage has a hard edge that you won’t soon forget, with cutting guitar and a vocal edge that will make one take notice.” Says Richard Wildman via ourcityradio.com, and notice they have, their long established local following has been joined by a growing fan base stretching from Texas to California. Crows Cage will continue with their “FORGIVEN SINS” tour through the Fall of 2014 before returning to the studio to create more magic for their second album due to be released in the Winter of 2014.
