For Vocalist Joe Gallagher Jr, the hard hitting rock band LOQUE was just a dream...literally. "The name LOQUE came to me in a a dream. The next morning, I wrote it down . I Googled the word and found out that it means 'in rags' or 'the wreck of a human' in French."
Gallagher wasted no time taking LOQUE from a dream to rock revival reality. The band released the singles “Party Animals” and “Bullets” recorded with John Arbarca of JJA studios. “Bullets” received strong radio play on over 150 stations worldwide and has been selected by comedian Pauly Shore for an upcoming project.
Even as a relatively new band on the scene, LOQUE has deep roots and a strong message. For Gallagher, the key to lasting success was getting sober. "I was going to die if I continued to abuse substances the way I did." Gallagher told The Alternative Review. "I had to ask for help, fix my thinking, and do the work it takes to stay sober."
Big things are on the horizon for LOQUE. The band has taken shape with the addition of Dan "Wilder" Michaud on drums, Nick Balogh on lead guitar and Jason Beckwith on bass. LOQUE recently finished recording their new single “Stonehouse” with Producers Greg Session and Pat Keogh who has worked with The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, Ronnie Spector, The Ramones, Fleetwood Mac and more. The members of LOQUE have also recently been invited to have a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie Sensory Perception starrring John Savage, Corbon Benson and Diamond Dallas Page.
Fans of 30 Seconds to Mars, Wolfmother, Stone Temple Pilots or Pearl Jam will love LOQUE.
