Singer songwriter Jim St. James is an acoustic folk/alternative folk rock artist originally from Gary, Indiana.

He now resides in the Chicago/Michiana region where he performs often, with annual tours along the gulf coast and southwest.

Throughout his career James has performed hundreds of shows here in the United States and abroad and has released 5 cd's to his credit. He's been a repeat performer at multiple songwriter festivals and has performed featured spots on community radio and television. His single release 'Caroline' charted at #1 on the Roots Music Report's Roots / Americana charts (RMR) in 2007 and in January 2015, his song about the life of Amelia Earhart has been featured on the official website of the famous aviator. Performing alongside James' is Scott Jordans on lead guitar. The duo has been performing together since 2013.

His prolific lyrics, clear vocals and unorthodox guitar playing style has been gaining him notoriety with fans around the globe, one show at a time.
