Chris Stever Audio / Bio

With a Bachelor's Degree in Music Recording Technology from Lebanon Valley College, over nine months of interning at world-class studios in Hopatcong, NJ and Allentown, PA, and years of freelance recording, mixing, editing, and producing experience, I offer a rare combination of educational and real-world training and professional quality at a cost anyone can afford. I now bring my services to Nashville for the opportunity to work with some of the best artists in the Music City.

I have experience in almost all styles of music including rock, pop, alternative, comedy, folk, jazz, country, and metal. My expertise is in digital recording, mixing, and editing using ProTools, but I also have experience in 5.1 Surround Sound mixing; voice-overs and post-production work for video, radio, and comedy skits; on-site remote recording of recitals and concerts; and live sound reinforcement.

In addition to my technical training, I am also classically trained in music, having taken trumpet lessons for 14 years and piano for over 10 years. I have appeared on several albums and demos as a performer, working with artists such as the Dixie Hummingbirds, Sharon Little, and Johnny Action Figure, among others. I also play drums and am familiar with bass and guitar.

For information on my services and rates, please take a look at my blog entries. If you are interested in working with me or you would like more information or examples of my work, send me a message or email me at stever.chris@gmail.com
