Grown locally from the rolling green hills of Berkshire County Massachusetts, The Interlopers are best described as a young, organic, smile and joy-inducing musical organism. What began as a few high school kids in their basement, evolved into a musical force to be reckoned with. Characterized by their unique amalgamation of classic R&B/ Soul, 60’s and 70’s era rock, Funk, Hip-hop, Jazz and Pop music, with a sophistication and intensity all their own, The Interlopers have developed their unique sound. Comprised of Drummer/Lead vocalist Curtis Kelley, Guitarist Nicholas Veinoglou, Jakob Rabitsch on Keys and Vocals, Nick Frenay on Bass and Vocals and Ariel Shrum on Trumpet, The band commands the stage with deep pocket grooves, rich and smooth harmonics, inspiring and powerful lyrics, complete with a fat and lively horn section; A full, rich sonic experience, all executed with a boundless and enthusiastic improvisation. Their main goal is to write music that people will love listening to, colorful and sophisticated without loosing a pop sensibility that ties in the audience; music that can sooth the soul and dazzle your senses, always leaving the crowd guessing, grooving and smiling with excitement all the while. The Interlopers strives to invite the crowd into the musical weave with clever songwriting and catchy choruses, encouraging the crowd to sing along, clap their hands and move their feet before diving into a intricate and always fresh jam, sweeping the crowd along on a musical journey. "Their music is like a sound bath, welcoming and inviting you in slowly, then once you are completely submerged, takes you on a cleansing journey". – Fan.
