I started playing the piano at age 5 in rural South Jersey. Singing since I was in the womb, I was often a part of local church and school choirs. I moved to Philadelphia after majoring in Cognitive Science at Villanova University and there, taught myself to play the guitar and joined the budding local scene. I fronted and wrote for my own band as well as the Trip-Hop Duo, Quintero. I moved to San Francisco after my first Burning Man and made a living busking in the Powell Street Bart Station and Haight Street. I also became a part of a Hip-Hop free-style cypher in the Mission District of San Francisco at the Revolution Cafe. While in the subway, I was approached by an assistant for producer Narada Michael Walden and have recently cut our first tune," Let's Get Close."
