Sixth annual Gram InterNational will be at Douglas Corner Cafe again to honor Gram 40 years after his death and celebrate 40 years since GP. Two nights this year Nov 8/9; Friday is bands, Saturday acoustic. Fri $10 door; Sat $5 w/ Fri tkt stub, else $10. http://grambash.us. More details to come.
The legendary Douglas Corner once again hosted Nashville's fifth consecutive annual festival commemorating Gram Parsons and the Petition to Induct him into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Bands included: James Scott Bullard & the Late Night Sweethearts w/ guest vocalist Rebecca Morning, Harmondale, The Burritos w/ Walter Egan, Casey James Prestwood & the Burning Angels, Donna Frost, The Devious Angels, Chris James & The Gram Band, Rich Mahan & the Cocktail Heroes, and special musical guest, Bob Buchanan, member of Gram's seminal International Submarine Band and co-author of "Hickory Wind." Journalist Bob Kealing was also be on hand to sign copies of "Calling Me Home: Gram Parsons & the Roots of Country Rock."

GN Boston bands killed: Highway Ghosts, Jeff Byrd & Dirty Finch, Twang 'em High, 25 Pearl, Maynard & the Musties, The Cosmic American Derelicts, Lynda Lucas from Ireland, Brian Molnar & the Naked Hearts, Rocking Horse Rodeo, The Molenes, Lydia Loveless,Jenee Halstead and Loose Salute.
