Ebenezer Avenue started many years ago as a band called Anything Now. After going their seperate ways for a couple years, a chance meeting at a local music store and the addition of a second guitarist allowed them to re-form under the new and more meaningful name: EBENEZER AVENUE. The name comes from the street in Rock Hill, SC, where we all met. Anybody in the Carolina's knows that Ebenezer Avenue is the hub for all out of control parties and out of control college kids. Our music is without a doubt a reflection of that lifestyle. The album name "Life Behind the Bleachery" is a tribute to the Rock Hill Bleachery that recently burned to the ground, consequently, giving us a good album title and artwork.
