From the Rocky Mountain Region, Jill Sissel is an extraordinary songwriter, guitarist and vocalist recording 7 CDs to date. Two of which, (Love Knows no Distance, The Builder), were nominated by JPFolks for Best Americana Album and song. Also involved in movie song placement, Jill's song co-written with Paul Jackson was placed in independent film, "Murphy's Law". She also produced the title theme song. On her 6th studio CD, "Haunted Highway", Jill joined creative forces with the illustrious Walter Egan on a duet written with Salt Lake City songwriter Gene Swift. Jill was part of the Paint Sisters (produced by John Carter Cash), and plays bass guitar, piano, flute, and harmonica. Her band, THE DELTA RIDE with Greg Barnes (bass), Jenny Barnes (rhythm guitar) and Liz Ficalora (drums), play new songs from Jill's latest and 7th CD, "Tell the Truth" (available on itunes) in the Nashville and surrounding areas.
