Edan Everly is currently (2008-2011) touring as a guitarist with Frankie Avalon. Edan played most all the instruments on his albums "For the insanity of it all" and "Songs from Bikini Atoll" other contributing artists include: Phil Everly, Eliaz, Frank Avalon Jr. Amanda Tsubota and James Kerr. He is the son of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. “With choruses like pure sunshine, classic hooks, and arrangements more intricate than DNA, laced with to-the-bone lyrics, Edan’s brew of rock ‘n roll is on a level that firmly places him at the top of modern day pop culture songwriters. Take the timeless classic ‘Fly Away’, for instance. It’s a song where all the elements are in perfect synergy. Soaring melodies, great writing, an incredibly soulful performance, awesome production - and all done by the man himself. A multi-instrumentalist and highly-skilled producer, Edan takes full control over every aspect of his songs. And what’s striking about these songs is how diverse they are while at the same time there’s that trademark Edan sound running through them all. It’s in that distinctive and rich voice of his, in the guitar playing that proves he’s one of the finer guitar players of our generation, and it’s simply in how his songs are an imprint of his soul. With a colorful career behind him, Edan’s current work shows he’s now at his Zenith.”
