Born and raised in Dover (UK) I have been singing in pubs and clubs since I was 17 years old. At 19, I was a resident artist at the Dover folk club, which met in a room above the Falstaff pub.
In the 1970s I played the pubs, clubs and hotels around East Kent as the lead singer of a mainly country group called The Reapers.
I now divide my time between the UK and the USA, performing acoustic sets at shows whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself.
My regular local haunts include the Dancing Dog Saloon in Bobbing, near Sittingbourne and various open-mics in the Canterbury area.
I record all my songs in my own home "studio" using my Yamaha Tyros keyboard or Tanglewood/Epiphone guitars.
The videos from Texas were recorded by Cat at the Loading Dock in Georgetown and featured my Epiphone Masterbilt guitar.
Other videos were recorded at the Pioneer Adult Community Center in Oregon City, OR, where I do a regular Tuesday lunchtime spot when I'm in the States, at a Sunday night gig at The Unicorn in Bekesbourne, Kent, and at various open-mics, open-stages, folk clubs and sing-arounds in various parts of Kent and in Yorkshire. These also feature my Epiphone Masterbilt guitar.
I now have my own small PA system and am available for bookings. For details or to book a show, please contact me via e-mail @: bill.beer<at>talk21.com
