“My overall opinion, this is my best piece of work yet, I have come a long way as an artist and writer and I’m still growing.” That has been Nesha The Voice calling ever since she released her first single ‘Voodoo”, in the past years, the singer/songwriter musical strong suit has grown an intense loyal fan base responsible for her astounding internet buzz. This Bennettsville native recording artist, songwriter, and performer has established a reputation for herself in her hometown as being touted the “Carolina Songbird” by her fans and several music insiders.
With a track record of one album, five independent music awards and 6 nominations, The Voice is only getting started. The singer returns with a more raw, and edgy sound on her 1st street album, titled Love Chronicles Pt 1 released by C&E Entertainment Group.
“This album is very sentimental; I really enjoyed opening up the book of my life and sharing it with the entire world. The beginning of the album is very playful and soft. Then drastically it picks up the pace and ends with a bang. The flow of the album is almost like reading an interesting novel and the climax really takes you to another level” This was the thought process she had developing this album.
Love Chronicles Pt 1 features songs that are soulful, sometimes dealing with heartaches (Circles), freedom (Finally Single), and even motivating (Beautiful) but no matter what the song, Ne’sha keeps most of the tracks upbeat and a little hip hop. That’s what sets this street album apart from the rest. She collaborates with one of Industries’ well known Deejay “DJ Skillz”” (formerly of Roc-a-Fella Records} and Carolina’s emerging producer Derrean “The Mighty D.R” Jones, to create the Love Chronicles Pt 1 album. “His tracks complemented my words perfectly and the collaboration with him was always a dream come true, his work was so unique with the old school hip hop flavor with a twist and “DJ Skillz understood where I wanted to go with the project, he saw the vision and he executed it bringing me the soulful sound that I needed”.
Love Chronicles Pt 1 soulful crafted selection of old school R&B over hip hop tracks giving the energy and overall effect that Ne’sha The Voice has on her audience(s). Her music is something different and relatable with her fans and that what keeps her on top of the R&B scene. “My overall opinion, this is my best piece of work yet”
