Boston based singer songwriter Rich O’Reilly composes material gleaned from life experiences as a man with a Christian world view. His music combines biblical themes with a mix of styles borrowed from his musical influences over the years. True to these roots, Rich’s sound is an eclectic mix in the Americana genre from acoustic country blues/gospel to folk and classic rock
Rich is a veteran of the New England music scene who has performed with many of the top rock, blues and jazz bands. Making way for his bands to become headliners, he opened for many national acts including Tommy Castro and Duke Robillard, in venues such as The House Of Blues in Cambridge, MA and The Last Call in Providence, RI.
Being raised in the Baptist church, Rich grew up sensing the presence of the Lord putting a call on his life. After recommitting his life to Christ, he quenched his thirst to serve God by lending his talents to several praise and worship bands. During this period of spiritual growth he felt a calling to write and share his own music of faith and everyday life.
Rich currently performs as a solo Christian acoustic singer/songwriter in the greater Boston area and has released 4 CD’s of his music.
