Formed in late 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio Bryan Geary, Jake Starr-martin, Members of former Cleveland band Hopes Held High, decided to break away from former bassist and guitarist and form the current band A Brilliant Night. With the victory of a local Battle Of The Bands (sold out event) Produced by local veterans Gorilla Productions, and opening for metals giants Parkway Drive at Cleveland’s iconic House Of Blues, under our belts we are working every day to make our music stand out and heard by people all over.
In January of 2012 ABN brought in RobbyK (guitar) and Rick Bernotas (bass), to bring BG (formerly vocal AND bass) to his true shining point of vocals only. Though shortly after these additions ABN had to part ways with guitarist Antonio and stick with the 4 piece line-up there is today. Eventually they ended parting ways with old bassist and brought in the current member. ABN has been through so much in the short few years they were on the local circuit. They decided to step away from the scene to take in other interests but now as of 2014 ABN have confirmed initially that they are back and are going to take over not only the local but national circuit as well. The band is noted for its energetic live performances and for fusing many music genres. Drummer for ABN, Jake has said, "This year we will be on the fast track to success and we are eager to get out their and show our fans the much needed love". Guitarist Robby K also said, "We are switching are formula a little bit, almost reinventing ourselves in the process and we feel this new material will change the way people will interact and will push us the achieve great things". We can't wait to see and hear what ABN has in store for us!
