Formed out of the ashes of a plastic, fake, rock n roll scene the idea for Kasket was initially hatched in the winter of 2013 as an instrumental thrash/shred project as a way for Nicole and Wayne to return to their metal roots. The two spent 3 months writing songs and riffs and at that point decided the material was to good to waste on an instrumental shred record and at that point the search began for other members and Kasket was born.
The next to jump on board was Rafael Romero on Guitars who then brought in his long time friend Hiram Ortega (Pirate) on vocals. The four of them continued honing their direction while searching for a bassist when Crazy Dave was found through a mutual friend.
The sound could be described as all of the best bits of Death,Black, and Thrash metal over the last 30 years but with a steely eye looking firmly to the future. The only existing boundaries in this world are: it must be Metal and it must be face ripping.
