Prima Donna / Bio

PRIMA DONNA is a band of 4 native Angelenos who have done 650+ shows worldwide. Their 2012 release 'Bless This Mess' on Acetate Records is produced by Chris Dugan and features the lead single 'Feral Children' mixed by Grammy winner D. Sardy. The Knitting Factory Management artists have toured with their allies Green Day, supporting the mega-band in arenas on the European and Asian continents. The band's friendship with Green Day began when Prima Donna frontman, singer/guitarist Kevin Preston, joined Green Day side-project Foxboro Hot Tubs for their live dates. Prima Donna frequently tours Europe to a growing overseas fan base. Stevie Van Zandt has featured three tracks, 'Demoted', 'Puta, Te Amo' & 'Rock And Roll Is Dead', as the Coolest Song In The World This Week on the Underground Garage, his Sirius satellite radio show. Little Steven also stated that Prima Donna's 'Bless This Mess' was one of his top three albums of 2012. After another trip to Europe in the Spring of 2013, Prima Donna opened for Adam Ant on his Summer 2013 tour of the USA and Canada.
