Mike Harvey / Bio

Mike Harvey got his start singing jingles and background on gospel records in the early 90's in Chicago. Less than 4 years later, he moved to New York City to do 'so much more'.
Since living in New York, he has not only sung for many national and international campaigns, he has toured singing background for Grammy award-winning artist Seal, has appeared on television singing background for major recording artists both in the U.S.A. and abroad, has sung for some of his favorite artists that include Sting, Sheryl Crow, Billy Joel at Carnegie Hall's "Rainforest Benefit."
Mike also appears on albums for artists that include Zap Mama, Nancy Wilson, Luther Vandross, Steely Dan, Matthew Morrison, Ricky Martin, Linda Eder, and Randy Brecker just to name a few.
Mike has even worked as an off-camera booth singer for NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' and has appeared on-camera in a recurring skit on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.'
Doing his own original project, he was chosen as Verizon Music Festival's "Emerging Artist" in NYC.
He has produced other artists' CD's and projects including True Nature's self-titled EP, and most recently vocal production on Stacie Rose's 'Alter Ego" CD which can be heard on MTV's "The Real World" as well as other programs on that network.
In addition to vocal coaching, and doing master classes, Mike continues to work, going back and forth between New York and Chicago to work on as many projects as he can.
