For Mauricio Morais his love for music began at the tender age of 15, he formed a band and started performing through out local clubs in the New England area. In the early 80s he started to write his own songs that led to his first recording in 1984, the name of the album was "Show Me the Way" it was recorded in Lisbon,Portugal, and with this album Mauricio Morais had the honor of working with one of the greatest maestro and pianist's of Europe Jorge Machado and his orchestra. In 1994 he recorded his third album "D�-me Uma Pinguinha" and his music career was forever changed. In 1996 he was awarded his first Gold Record. D�-me Uma Pinguinha has now been recorded by several well known artists in the Portuguese communities. In 1998 Henda Records presents Mauricio Morais with his second Gold Record for his album "Gosto Dela". His most recent recording is "Inspira�oes" which is his 12th album. Today because of his musical success Mauricio Morais has had the honor to travel the Portuguese communities through out America, Canada,Australia, Bermuda, Venezuela, France and Portugal in hopes of bringing joy to his fans through out the world.
