Cary Posavitz has been performing professionally since the age of 17 in a variety of shows and venues all over the world. He was the first American vocalist ever to be cast in Riverdance, the Irish Dancing international phenomenon. After touring with Riverdance for four years, Cary remained in the United States, where he starred in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, had lead roles in Cruisin’ ’57 for Dick Clark Productions, The Magnificent Gospel Showcase for Sky Television, and performed for Regency, Radisson, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and the Showboat Branson Belle. Now living in Dublin, Cary can currently be heard with his new band, The Jazz Pack, in several of the city’s music venues such as The Mint Bar, Darky Kelly’s, Yamamori Sushi, Bewley’s Hotel, and The K Club, showcasing his various influences including Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, and Sammy Davis Junior. His film credits include Michael Collins, Different Dreams, the BBC series The Aristocrats, as well as many television commercials. Cary recently completed his exciting new CD, “The One”, a collection featuring unique arrangements of Broadway hits and Jazz Standards.
