Paul Malysa is both soulful and personal. As a songwriter he is known to compose emotionally charged music and his honest and genuine performance style has overwhelmed and charmed audiences everywhere.
In 2012 things started to change for Paul, with 3 of his songs being used in a feature film that just received Best International Award of Excellence at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and Best Feature Film and The Moving Images Awards in Toronto. Performing live in Nashville during CMA Fest and performing at the legendary El Mocambo and Culture Days. He is an active member of NSAI, SAC,
and CMAO with 5 of his songs currently being plugged in Nashville. Paul also just released his new video “One Step Closer”.
Following the success of his 2004/2005 independent CD release ‘No More Yellow Lights’ which garnered radio airplay across Canada. His live performances and numerous interviews have kept Paul very busy up until now.
With the 2006 single release project ‘Pencils and Racers (the chapters song)’ his ear for simple melody with signature harmonies were again in the spotlight. It showcased at once an incredible story with intriguing production while at the same time remaining accessible to audiences everywhere.
Paul’s songwriting has been recognized through an Honorable Mention for this song in, Song of the Year Contest.
A summer 2006 Ontario tour was conducted with several live performances including; The Healing Cycle and Palliative Care fundraising event where he wrote and performed the song ‘The Healing Cycle’ to support this worthwhile cause.
During this time his remake of "In the Air Tonight" was internationally downloaded and featured on Wave947 in their Top 10 for over 13 weeks.
A highlight of the 2007/2008 touring schedule included a special performance at Nathan Phillips Square. As well, the 150th Anniversary of Streetsville celebration for which Paul wrote the song titled “One Five ‘O’. In 2008/2009 Paul began his works of his new CD "Above the Fold".
2012 3 songs “One Step Closer, What’s your Story and Modern Soldier” in a feature film “A Secret Cross” Best International Award of Excellence Los Angeles Movie Awards and Best Feature Film at the Moving Images Awards in Toronto.

Currently, just being released the new Cd "Above the Fold". Paul pre launched two singles. One song title "Turn it Around" on Global Warming and the other song that he dedicated to our Canadian Soldiers titled "Modern Soldier".
This has been a great year for Paul with numerous performances across Canada, Nashville and Radio Interviews.
On September 22/2009 Universal Records released “Unforgettable Hits 2”
adding Paul’s song “Take Me” from his “No More Yellow Lights” CD to the compilation.
