Frantic Peace / Bio

see www.franticpeace.net

Frantic Peace is a positive hip hop artist, bringing his live energy and lyrical talent to every performance.
As an entertainer, he understands the importance of being unique and having good stage presence.
Being born and raised in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, has influenced
this artists character and sound. After all, the variation of music in the valley is abundant,
and the island life leaves quite an impression on ones self. People like a catchy song they can
sing along and dance to, and Frantic Peace gives them exactly that. Not only can you expect to hear singing, you'll also find the complexity and speed of some of his rhymes, quite possibly, a little mind blowing. Frantic Peace has performed in sixty plus shows on Vancouver Island in places like Victoria, Campbell River, and handful of towns in between. You would not know it by watching him on stage, but he has only been active in live performances since 2008. The comfort level that he portrays while performing, would leave one with the impression that he has been doing this for over a decade.

This young artist believes that an original and meaningful name is important;
to first get peoples attention, second to get them thinking, and most importantly, remembering the name.
Frantic Peace is a name used to describe two sides of one person, one side being positive and the other negative. Frantic Peace says, "Every one has these two sides, and we must learn to deal with them and choose what side we want to act on. We may not be able to control every situation we encounter, but we can control how we react to them." As a young person, Frantic Peace acted more on the negative side, but as he grew older he made up his mind he would like to change that. It wasn't an easy thing for him to do, as he was very depressed and suicidal, but being strong minded has helped him over come
many obstacles in his life. When you look at him now, you would find it hard to believe that he was ever a depressed person. These days he has always got a smile on ready to crack a silly joke, making him very enjoyable to be around.

Some of the most memorable moments have been opening for, Canadian hip hop legends, Swollen Members and Sweatshop Union. Mos Eisley, of Sweatshop Union, has produced two beats that Frantic Peace has had the honour of writing to. Frantic Peace has also shared the stage with the likes of Todd Butler and Emily Spiller. It is possible that a future song collaboration with Emily Spiller will be made, so keep your eyes on the look out for that one.

Frantic Peace, being the perfectionist that he is, puts a lot of thought and effort into every thing he creates. His new twenty track album, entitled "The Time Is Now" - released in 2011, has many people excited and looking forward to hearing more. The songs that follow this theme of time include; Time Machine, The Time is Now, Why Rush Life, Past Behind, Not too Late, Time Stand Still, Free Time, and No Time to Waste. All of these songs are meant to leave a positive impression on the listener,
causing them to feel inspired to make change for the better, in their life and those around them.
The producer for this album is Matt Gouldsborough of CMAD Productions.
When you combine his heavy hitting beats with the artistic touch of Frantic Peace, the end result is deeply satisfying. Frantic Peace is currently working on another project that will be consisting of twenty tracks produced by Infidel Beats. The idea and title of this project is not set in stone just yet, but as more songs are written, the more the idea for the album comes together.

One of the ways that Frantic Peace gets involved in the community is by performing for free at the LINC Youth Centre.
The music that Frantic Peace writes is very inspiring and influential, making it perfect for encouraging the younger generation.
Frantic Peace gets a lot of satisfaction from being a part of a variety of different fund raisers.
Coal Watch, Haiti earth quake, homelessness, and the food bank, are some of the causes that money has been raised for.
The generous nature of this young artist can have a down side though, as some people like to take advantage.
After learning the hard way, he now chooses carefully the company that he keeps, because we all know bad company corrupts good morals.

Frantic Peace is very genuine and sincere when he says that he is involved in music for the main purpose of making positive change.
You can easily tell this is true by his actions and from the lyrics within his music.
He has been told quite a few times by different people, "I don't really like hip hop music, but I enjoy listening to your tunes."
It would seem that many people have a bad image in their head about what hip hop music is.
Frantic Peace takes those misconceptions and throws them far from himself, proving to be a true artist that many people can enjoy listening to.
Just like all different genres of music, there will always be bad artists or songs in them, so we should erase the stereo types.
You won't be hearing this artist talk vulgar and disrespectful, because that's just not who Frantic Peace is, and he would like his music to be enjoyed by all ages and kinds of people.

Frantic Peace music should not be listened to while driving, as the music can cause sudden bursts of excitement.
Please talk to your doctor before listening to Frantic Peace music to make sure it will be ok to use.
This music may be harmful to people with back and neck problems as it can cause people to bob their heads to the beat.
Thank you for taking the time to read up on this relatively new artists.
