Kristin is a self taught guitarist and songwriter thanks to her dad. One day Kristin showed interest in the guitar and he took her to a tiny place in Harrisburg and bought her a brand new gem which she covets. She doesn't actually know how to play it, but dang does she have an ear and picks it right up. And also thanks to a special someone that showed her some direction. Though jamming is a bit difficult.
Many songwriters tried to tell her how to be or do it the way they thought it should be along the way, but Kristin did it the exact opposite. This, was not changing how she played chords, or how she was writing the words. Whatever it was that Kristin did? It just flowed. Like it was supposed to. Probably sounding too off for someone with a trained ear. Well, Kristin isn't trained. She has been playing on and off for the past 15 years. She's not really hoping for much, just to play for people who understand what she's trying to say. She has gotten standing ovations and quite a few buckets of tears from fans. Even played for who she wrote songs about and got nothing but a thank you from them.
Kristin B......she's afraid of her voice. She is afraid of people not knowing the truth about the fact that she has no idea what she is doing. But listening to her recordings, or better yet, seeing her in person, you would never believe it what true. Except for the fear of the metronome.
