Roger Silverberg learned to play music by listening to all the sounds to be found across the AM radio dial in the 50s and 60s and figuring it out for himself on guitar and piano. And that radio dial, especially in a music town like Philadelphia circa 1963 - 1968, was a place Rock ’n Roll, Country, Blues, Doo-Wop, soul and R & B, all managed to peacefully coexist. Since radio was the centerpiece of his education, it is hardly a surprise that bits and pieces of all these should be present in Roger's songwriting and performing style.
A performer since the late 1960s and a serious songwriter since the early 1970s, Roger is now based in Huntington, Long Island. He has released three albums, the most recent being Major Seventh Heaven.
Roger performs throughout the northeastern US and is always in search of performance opportunities.
