The band Inert Crisis is based out of the Westhampton area on Long Island, New York. The band is a Rock band, taking influences from those of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beach Boys.
The band though, also does not stop when it comes to just "Rock 'n' Roll Music", the band also plays covers of other genres ranging from Soul/ R&B, Blues to Punk and Alternative Music.
The band is a four piece, these are the members bios.
Jason is the lead guitarist for Inert Crisis. As sophomores, Douglas and Justin approached him with the suggestion of starting a rock band, to which he agreed with enthusiasm. Jason mainly listens to metal and alternative rock. His personality and humor fit the group like a puzzle piece and this is one reason why Inert Crisis is a strong rock band.
Justin is the drummer for Inert Crisis
He played piano at 7 until he was 12, when he picked up the guitar and began to enjoy music alot more.
When the band needed a drummer after months of no luck finding one Justin became the drummer.
His main influences are Screeching weasel, The Germs, Circle Jerks, Trash Talk, and A Day to Remember.
Henry is the rhythm guitarist/vocalist for Inert Crisis and has been playing for 3 years roughly. He originally discussed this idea with Doug freshman year and learned to play from him since then. Him and Doug switch between vocals on songs due to not wanting to maintain a lead singer for variety reasons.
Douglas is the bassist/ vocalist of the band Inert Crisis. He has been playing bass guitar for 2 years as of December 2013. When the band needed a bassist, Douglas volunteered for bass reluctantly at first, but then found the instrument to be exciting and allowed him to play like his idols: Paul McCartney, James Jamerson, and John Entwistle. His influences include: The Beatles, The Funk Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, The Who, Arthur Alexander, and many similar artists.
The idea of Inert Crisis is not to have a lead vocalist, an idea the members all agreed was not fitting for their image, which helped with their willingness to play a larger variety of songs and genres.
The band has hopes of becoming even larger as times goes and and asks for anyone's support who loves to listen to a wide variety of music.
