Infinite Vastness is a fully formed band that has no boundaries. They take the powerful strokes of the guitar, smoothe waves of the bass, the hard hitting feel of the drums, the electric pop of the keyboard and the deep lyrics of a vocalist to create genuinely good music. The collaborations they form are interpretations of the blues, experimental rock and psychedelics. Their music has roots. They produce textures in their music like that of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. This musical group is daring enough to play with an edge, unlike many bands coming forth these days.
Founded last year, in 2013 by guitarist and vocalist, Taylor Clark, Infinite Vastness consists of Alex Severson (keys) and Julian Herbert (drums). They first made their debut by playing a live show for their friends in downtown Sacramento. Joined in early 2014 by bassist Bill Burnett, they're now playing shows on college campuses and venues in different areas across Northern California. The band continues to stay true to their followers and give live shows at least once a month at Fox and Goose, the dive bar that started it all. Their sound consists of layers, alternating in tempos and rhythms. The vocals are not only powerful but memorable. The energy the music brings is raw, they take chances and most importantly it’s real.
