***ABOUT CHARLIEHIPHOP AND THE RUBBER BAND***
The Rubber Band formed in late 2012 to support CharlieHipHop's album *Good Boy* (after which he named his label). It soon became clear that they had something special going on so they began playing the songs that became *Let's Just Play* in addition to the Good Boy lineup.
*CharlieHipHop* was first called that back in the old days when he lived on Denver's hardcore punk scene. It was both derisive and endearing nickname for a white suburban kid from the suburbs who was open minded enough to embrace the newly emerging hip-hop genre of music.
The nickname resurfaced 2000 miles and a couple of decades later when he found himself in a Bronx hiphop studio laying down some guitar tracks for a rapper. Though his own music has little to do with hip-hop, he still loves hip-hop and decided to keep the nickname.
Charlie -- under various stage names -- has jammed with musicians on three continents and blown the roof
off some pretty big rooms, but he's always seen music as a hobby not a job.
*Corey "LC" Thornton*
Corey is not just an amazing drummer who has worked with the likes of Cee Lo Green, Smokin' Buddha,
and drum soloed in front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden; he also fronts his own band,
ReddX and is an outstanding songwriter and singer. Corey lives for music and is one of the best drummers
in the business.
*Oren "OB One" Bayonne*
Oren is a talented and disciplined bassist who knows just when to lay back and just when to let loose. His resume is top-secret, but he's totally awesome.
