Joey “Bones” Amanna-Drums
Joey Bones has been rocking since a he was a teenager in the Bronx. He grew up on the same block that produced the Blues Magoos and NRBQ—two influential bands that played a major role in his desire to become a musician. Bones would go on to play in various rock & roll bands before hitting it off with Fats Deacon and the legendary guitarist Wayne Kramer from Detroit’s own MC5. Recording and touring with Fats gave Bones a wealth of experience and musical knowledge. In the subsequent years Bones became a journeyman in various rock n roll bands, including The Makers, The Dungaree Dogs, and The Ready Steadies. Along the way he played and recorded with his good friend Walter Libero at his Cottage in the Trees Studio. While doing demos there with musician and longtime friend Vinnie Luccisano, Bones was introduced to guitarist Humphrey Lynch. The four of them recorded a few demos together and before long they knew they had a rock & roll soul band like no other—Jack of Clubs. Bones is now ready to unleash a torrent of shaking, rock & roll soul music upon everyone.
Vincent Luccisano-Keyboards lead Vocals
Vinnie Luccisano has been playing the keyboards since the age of 14 after it became apparent he couldn't play the guitar. His early influences were keyboard heavy groups like ELP, Yes and Deep Purple. Jeff Beck and the Jan Hammer Group and Steely Dan were also great influences, leaning towards the blues and jazz genres. In the mid 70's he worked steadily as the keyboard player and backup and lead vocalist for The Strange Reflection, playing the local nightclub and wedding circuit. In the mid 90's, as a nightclub owner he hosted bands such as The Tramps, Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge, Tavares and Harold Melvin's Blue Notes. Later, he played with Kindred Soul featuring the late, great Dale Giattino on drums as well as with The Dungaree Dogs. Currently, he has the great pleasure to be part of Jack of Clubs, featuring Humphrey Lynch on guitar, Walter Libero on bass and Joe "Bones" Amanna on drums. Playing rock, blues and soul is the reason Jack of Clubs was formed, allowing these four seasoned musicians to play and share the music they love.
