Faith Montaperto is a Multi-Media Artist and successful Singer-Songwriter. She is busy recording her forthcoming CD, GOD Showed Me a BUTTERFLY set to be released in late 2012. On the first Friday of every month, you can find her at the Vanilla Bean Café, in Pomfret, where she hosts one of the oldest & most well-respected Listening Room/Open Mics in Connecticut. She labels her songwriting & performance style as "Recovery-Inspired Music with a touch of Blues/Gospel/Folk". Her music explores the controversial themes of Addiction, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Trauma, Recovery, PTSD, etc. Montaperto writes about real life, real situations that she’s lived through. The emotions are raw, the lyrics are real, and the voice is soulful and thick with the pain of the past. Audiences often identify with her music, because of its realism and that it also comes from a place of healing and recovery.
