The first time I realized I wanted to do something with music was when I was about 12 years old. I was playing on my dad's new keyboard and I would learn songs that I heard on tv or on the radio just by listening to them. By the time I was 16 I got my first guitar. It was a Fender Starcaster electric guitar, and it came with a 15 watt Line 6 practice amp. I had no idea how to play guitar so through trial and error I found many cords by messing around with it. Later I would meet up with friends who knew how to play, and from watching them I was able to learn many new cords and techniques as my skills developed. Now, at 21 years old, I've been chasing the musicians dream in an 9 year adventure to become one of the next top 10 musicians. That's still a long way away, but for now, I want to share my music with anyone I can, hoping to be an inspiration to anyone I can reach.
