Had her first paid gig at 14 when hired as a temporary back-up singer for a touring musical group. Classically trained, Judith performed in musicals and entered vocal competitions in college. She returned to the joy of singing in 2003 when she joined the Mudd Skippers.
Cornet & Band Leader
A self-taught cornet player, Gil created the Mudd Skippers to fulfill a lifetime dream of leading his own band. He was inspired by his father who led a band that played Hawaiian music. He’s played in combos and community bands in San Francisco, Monterey, South Korea and Morro Bay, California.
A graduate in music performance from the University of California-Fresno, Del is a retired teacher. He plays in the San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra, SLO Chamber Orchestra, SLO County Band, Cuesta Wind Ensemble, Hancock College Band, Morro Bay White Caps, Atascadero Summer Festival Band and the Coastal Winds Clarinet Quartet.
Original member of the 60s band, The Outsiders, known for their Top 10 hit, "Time Won’t Let Me." He performed on the main stage at Disneyland in the 70s, and has toured with The Beach Boys, Mac Davis, The Coasters and The Platters.
Was “first chair” tuba at Chico High School and a member of the Chico State Wildcat Marching Band. He’s played with the San Luis Obispo County Band, Morro Bay Whitecaps and PCPA Theatre Orchestra. He was co-founder of "Parents for Music," which successfully preserved music programs in SLO County schools.
