Zebb Rogers comes with a distinct southern soulful sound, and writing style. He was raised in a small town (Saline La) which is where many of his influences in music began. Zebb grew up on stage with his father as the Southern Knights band (mascot) before he even thought about being a singer/songwriter. This is where he heard all the greats such as Hank, Conway, Merle, Otis Redding, Percy Sledge, and countless others that would someday be molded into his very own sound. Over the past few years, he started as a karaoke singer for fun until introduced to the Bourbon Alley band in 2013 where he got his start as a front man. They spent several months belting out your favorite rocking country, and blues tunes. After a split, Zebb moved to a band with 20+ years of experience Extreme Caution, and remained their front man until now (July 2014). Since then, he has decided to branch out and pursue his true passion of writing, and creating music to find his own identity. Some believe he already has. Many say well, is it country? Is It Blues? Is it Soul? The Truth is that his style is all of them. He’s a Louisiana Southern Man in touch with his roots, from George and Waylon, to Stevie Ray and Al Green. He has spent the first half of 2014 working on the release of his upcoming album. Sound Engineer (Will Hughes) at Dyno Digital Audio, Virtuoso Guitarist (Robert Self), Songbird (Erica Butler), and the guys from previous band ( Extreme Caution) are part of the guest that you will hear when the album is released. Zebb puts a lot of his time and money into bringing these songs to life, and hopes that they will be received in a positive way. He hopes to one day hear one of his songs playing through the airwaves, and that it makes everyone want to roll the windows down and crank it to 11!
