Aaron Daniel Gaul, known to many as ADG, is an accomplished songwriter, musician and performer, writing music and performing on stage for roughly a quarter century in venues across the country. Currently local to the Harrisburg PA area, he has performed in venues such as the Abbey Bar @ Appalachian Brewing Company, HMAC Stage On Herr, the Whitaker Center and the Giant Center, and has recently been making appearances on the festival circuit, playing sets at Kipona, SHARE, and many Monkeylion & Trail’s End events ... just to name a few.
An ADG show is a bit more than you might expect from a solo acoustic artist. Along with a bounty of original music he loosely refers to as 'folk-adelic funk-grass', he also covers artists from a variety of musical influences including classic rock, blues, jazz, classic country, bluegrass, reggae, funk, folk, new age, pop and occasionally even rap and metal … all usually mixed with healthy doses of improvisation. The exceptional part of this one man show is, by utilizing and/or simulating multiple instruments & percussion and aided by looping technology, he is able to layer rhythm, melody, and harmony to produce a unique and original live sound.
In addition to the solo act, ADG is currently involved in various other music projects including the acoustic ‘Think Tank Musiquarium’ and the electric Grateful Dead tribute ‘Crippled But Free’.
