Bill doesn't just "play" the Hammond organ, he "shreds" the instrument. His vast years of experience playing the Hammond B3 clearly shows in every performance.
He began playing the Hammond organ in the late sixties in San Diego, Ca. His very first organ was the Hammond M3 and and Leslie 147.
He really began getting his education while playing the blues circuit in Kansas City, Mo.
He played with The BWB Band who later toured nationally behind the harmonica sensation, Brody Buster. Later, Bill played the Hammond B3 with the late great Cotton Candy Washington and played on her debut CD, "They Call Me Cotton Candy." Bill's Hammond prowess was always in demand and he backed a variety of artists including Linda Shell and The Blues Thang. He provided Hammond organ and piano tracks on her CD as well.
In 1998 Bill moved to the San Francisco Bay area where he toured and played with Little Sister and The Bad Intentions. His Hammond licks can be heard on Little Sister's "Live At The Mystic Theater".
Bill relocated to Albuquerque, NM where he continues to play the Hammond organ with the Mystic Vic Blues Band.
