Nki-Louise - Singer, Writer, MC, and Producer.
Chef Boy R'Don, the Lethal Combo of Versatility. Founder of "Layer it Hoe" NerdSwag.
From her quiet soft spoken poetry, all the way to her fresh coast dub step and high energized stage presence. She brings more than just a new plate to the table of hip hop, Nki-Louise turns heads whether it be her raging "In Your Face" style of rap, silencing crowds with her painfully structured R&B solos, or hitting the stage at a Hip Hop show with her acoustic guitar reciting her spoken word. She makes you listen, she digs into your heart, she makes you look.
From Hip Hop, to R&B, Rap, Classical Piano, Acoustic, Soft Blues, to Heavy Metal Hip Hop. She has the ability to take on and conquer any style, and turn it into an unforgettable story. As she says, "I don't make music to be like everyone else, I don't sing to make people listen, I don't run around and jump off stage to be looked at, and
I don't change my appearance so people will notice me. I do everything I do, for myself. If you've ever seen me on stage you'll notice half the time my eyes are closed, even on the most hype performance. It's because I am in my own world and state of mind, releasing all my energy that I put into the music in the first place. I am just being myself, and if no one liked it, or looked, or noticed me, I would still do it. Cause it's what I love to do, it's not up to someone else to be who I am."
Performing live as an opening act for Hip Hop Artists such as Crooked I, Cormega, Tha Dogg Pound, Waka Flocka Flame, Swollen Members, Choclair, Mos Def, Common, Obie Trice, Killah Priest, Inspectah Deck, R.A. The Rugged Man, Sweatshop Union, Block McCloud, Celph Titled, Blackastan, Madchild, Moka Only, D-12, Abstract Rude, Sonreal, and many more. It's no doubt that she is more than just an artist, but highly involved in a scene she rises to support and help build. She is not only a layer in this foundation, but a solid structure all together, giving both female and male MC's a look into not only what you can make yourself, but what you can do for your scene as a whole.
"A beautiful soul, broken down into an exquisit masterpeice."
