Ethan Parker Band is a group of 4 guys who are striving to create incredible music with amazing lyrics. The band does not desire to follow in the footsteps of the normal Christian music sound but rather be who they are and out of that create amazing original music.
The style has influences from two environments where Ethan and the Band were raised. From folky-Tennessee influences to Jazzy Beach vibes the band has come together to create a truly unique and powerful song that not only every one can enjoy but is also God inspired.
Ethan was Born and raised in Memphis, TN he was immersed in Blues and Fold traditions. At 14 he moved to FL where the acoustic air of the guitar and ukulele deeply influenced his music. He began writing music at the age of 15 and although didn't know how, knew that God was going to use the music all over the world. At 19 he moved to West Palm Beach, FL to go to college at Palm Beach Atlantic with the expectation of getting his journal full of music out there. While at his first week of school he met Jeanmarc Alexandre (drums).
He and Jeanmarc would play music and jam out together and then dream began. Through mutually friends Jeanmarc introduced Ethan to Pierre Aristil (bass) who was the recording engineer and helped Ethan with the first project entitled, "Be Still". After recording the E.P. and many concert opportunities arrived, Pierre naturally became apart of the band. Lastly, Amos Pierre (Keys) joined and God brought everything together to allow for this group to create an exciting new sound. In January of 2013 the band released, "Calma Mi Alma" which were the same 5 songs off of the first EP but translated into spanish. The band had the opportunity to tour Nicaragua with the release of the spanish album in Summer of 2013 sharing their music with other 2,000 Nicaraguans. This Fall they plan to release the first half of a two part album entitled, "From The Mountains To The Sea". The band is extremely excited on how the new album is turning out and cannot wait to see where God leads them.
