If you enjoy listening to classical music with a twist and have come seeking a few moments of peaceful relaxation, you have found the right artist’s profile page. K. C. Beckmann, a retired clergy, has been composing simple, singable religious music for more than twenty years. Following his retirement from parish ministry, he began composing classical music with a twist. For the “twist,” he includes lyrics for almost every one of one his instrumental selections. While many classical arrangements are purely instrumental or sung by an artist, he invites you to read his lyrics. He believes that the spoken word is more powerful when you read a poem, a story or song lyrics. As you read, you become the participant in his music and poetry.
In many of his selections, he enjoys utilizing a flute to lead a caravan of strings (violins, violas, cellos, double bass, etc.) and bells as he weaves his stories into music and poetry. During 2014, he adds brass instruments to some of the more recent selections. You will find more about his music on his composer's website at www.whatajoyfulcelebration.com.
K. C. Beckmann has many more songs on his workstation waiting to be released. He uses a music notation software program on which he composes his songs and lyrics. The software program is able to generate professional quality sheet music and high quality wave and mp3 music files. Instrumental samples for each recording are from the Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 Library. We hope you will visit his profile page frequently and listen to his most recent release and read his musical poetry (lyrics).
