The partnership of singer/songwriters Marc Ambrosia and Shane Rojas has been one described as two “exquisitely matched voices;” according to music critic, Jim Testa. Throughout their blossoming career in music, the pair have already achieved well deserved recognition for their work as an acoustic pop/rock duo. Not only has the duo gotten radio play and exclusive interviews on programs such as The Quinn Spinn, Rock N Roll Gas Station, and The Jersey Beat, the pair has also performed at notable venues such as the Jersey Shore Music Festival, May Fair, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. With songs such as “Never That Easy,” “All My Life,” and “Look to the Sky;” the duo continues to prove they deserve a place in today’s music scene.
Marc & Shane first linked together musically in 2012. The two were asked to perform together for a school function and so they met, rehearsed, and realized what potential they had together. “Next thing I know, we we’re playing (Fleetwood Mac’s) ‘Landslide,’” says Rojas. “Then we started writing together and haven’t stopped since.” In 2013, Marc & Shane released their first EP, New Things Come... The EP contained five original songs from the pair, but that’s not all these songwriter has to offer. “We continue to write together and individually,” confirms Ambrosia. “We’re only getting better as songwriters and are eager to get more of our songs out there.”
Two years into their career, Marc & Shane are still eager to grow and thrive while writing and singing songs of exploration and discovery. “Two part harmony never gets old,” says music critic, Jim Testa. “Marc & Shane know that.”
