Okay now I have the Roland FR8X accordion midi to the Roland BK7M module. Truly a marriage of instruments.
I am the only member of this group, most of the time.
Dancetime With Linda & Roland
Now Dancetime With Linda as Roland passed away in October of 2007. Guess they call me a "one lady band". It can be done with the combination of the Roland FR8X Accordion and Roland BK7M sound module. Yes, that is me, Linda Herman, singing on the cd's. Some say I have a sultry voice. I just try to sing on key. Lately I have been writing a few songs. This seemed to happen after Roland's death. Never really wrote my own material before. One of my favorites is Ode To The Sutliff Bridge. It is a true story about a bridge in Iowa that is not used anymore except to party on. No cars go over it anymore. There are picnic tables on the bridge. On June 13, 2008 flood waters took out one span of the 3 span bridge. I was moved to write a song. Hopefully it will help save the bridge. Sutliff is trully a unique spot in the road. I used to live near the bridge. The bridge actually changed my life in 2008. It took me back "home" to Iowa. I have hooked up with many old friends and many new friends. Think about the definition of the word "bridge".
Well, I have cd's for sale at cdbaby. They do a great job of getting your material out in the public around the world. My music is geared to ballroom dancing. I have been doing this most of my life. First in Iowa and then in 1984 in the Los Angeles. I now reside in Seal Beach. What a great place. Love to golf, bike ride, hike, anything outdoors. Hope you will check out my music. Remember life is too short.
