Raised in a family as the son and younger brother of successful DJ’s, G-Whiz was destined to make a mark on hip-hop music. He first started spinning records on the radio at 9 years old and progressed to rocking parties and winning DJ battles through his teenage and young adult years. In 2002, Whiz made the move from hip-hop turntablist to beatmaker/producer. Since buying his Akai MPC music Control Center, he has produced records for artists local and signed and began his own producer showcase: Musicology 101. Recent success at the June 2010 I-Standard Producer Showcase yielded G-Whiz’s Signing to highly accredited True Sound Music Group. The Success Continues!
