Ted has produced, played guitar, arranged, recorded, & toured with major artists Whitney Houston, Harry Belafonte, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross, Burt Bacharach, Ronald Isley, Alessandra Rosaldo, The Manhattans, Blush, Manhattan Transfer, Ringo, Joe Cocker, Chicago, rapper Young M.C., Jonathan Richman, Willie Colon & Hector Lavoe, Imelda Papin, Dr. Buzzard's Savannah Band, & Engelbert Humperdink. All this has made Ted proficient in a variety of musical styles - R&B, Rock, Hip-Hop, Soul, Classical, Pop, Latin, Rap, Country, World, etc. Originally from New York, he now lives in Los Angeles.
He has done extensive work in TV & Movies. He arranged, programmed, & recorded 3 songs in the Adam Sandler movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry", ft. Lance Bass of *NSYNC. Ted produced the song "Before We Say Goodbye" for MTV's "2gether", produced, played, & composed the score for the ABC-TV "World Stunt Awards", co-wrote the main theme & cues for Showtime's "Full Frontal Comedy" (winner of Cable ACE award for Best Stand Up Comedy), co-produced 2 songs in the Ellen Burstyn film "Walking Across Egypt", & produced the title song for Jean-Claude Van Damme’s film "Desert Heat". Ted has conducted, played guitar, & arranged music for NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, & others. He has done jingles for McDonald's, Appleby's, Burger King, Korean Airlines, Perrier, & Coca-Cola.
He is a Pro endorser/consultant featured in ads by major companies Sony Digital, Steinberg, Dean Markley Strings, PSP, Trident HG3 speakers, Brauner-Sontronics-ADK-Studio Projects-Pearlman microphones, Native Instruments, LinPlug, ikMultimedia, Frontier, Audio Technica, & Full Compass Audio, X-Hun Audio, & Rob Papen, among many others. He programmed, arranged, & recorded the top-five platinum selling UK singles "Paradise" and "I Think I Love You" for Curb Records' singer Kaci. He produced & wrote the #1 European charting CD "Livin' On Love" for American Idol’s “Vocal Coach From Hell” Peggi Blu. After many years of being involved with praise & worship music, Ted is producing a new CD for “First Baptist Church of Pasadena”. He also produced a new jazz CD called “LA Smooth”, which features the ‘best jazz musicians in Los Angeles’. He wrote all the songs with world-renowned art collector and philanthropist Elizabeth Keck.
Ted recently won a Grammy for his work on "At This Time" by Burt Bacharach, & co-produced with Burt a song on Ronald Isley's CD "Here I Am". On "New Music From An Old Friend", Ted played the guitar solo on Brian Wilson’s "What Love Can Do" & co-produced "Still Remember" with Burt Bacharach. He mixed "The 5 Browns" duet w/Dean Martin of "Everybody Loves Somebody" (which went to #1 TWICE in Billboard). Ted is currently in production with actress/singer Gloria Loring (Robin Thicke’s mom) on her next CD, and also working on a new CD for Steve Lawrence, which includes a guest performance by country music superstars Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood.
Oh yeah…Ted is FINALLY working on his own CD!
