Gwyn Waller resides in the blossoming musical city of Asheville, NC. Originally from Rochester, NY she began writing songs at age 13, inspired by her musically gifted mother Virginia Lee Waller. When Virginia passed away she left Gwyn her vintage classical guitar and a void in her heart that could only be filled with song. Gwyn has been a member of a diverse range of groups including the Hollow Reed (Folk Rock), Wild Wood Flyers (Americana/ Blues), The Laura Thurston Band (Americana), Big Ben and the Clock Towers (Gypsy Jazz) and The Homminy Valley Hellbenders (Old Time). Currently she has been experimenting with hollow bodied guitars, tube amps and an Indie Rock feel. However, no matter what genre of music she is drawn to play her soulfull, rich vocals and concious & sassy song writing make her performances a unique and unforgettable experience.
