Shelly Dubois is an independent country singer/songwriter that has a traditional sound with a modern vibe. With a pinch of Natalie Maines (Dixie Chicks), a dash of Paulette Carlson (Highway 101) and a sprinkle of Stevie Nicks, mixed into every performance.
Shelly Dubois is an original talent and she puts her heart and soul into Canadian country music. This Alberta based
singer/songwriter is well loved for her exceptional stage skills and has performed across Alberta and BC, giving crowd pleasing shows in the Peace River region, at the Calgary Stampede, as well as the Merritt Mountain Music Fest and Sunfest Country Music Festival. Shelly has shared the stage with artists such as Duane Steele, Chad Brownlee, Hey Romeo, Jason Blaine, Dean Brody, Jetty Road, Sawyer Brown, and Lonestar. A natural entertainer, Shelly was nominated in 2011 in the first round of nominations by the BC Country Music Association in three categories: Female Vocalist, Horizon Award, and Traditional Country Award.
Shelly also performed in the New Artist Showcase at the BC Country Music Association’s Industry Awards in 2011.
In January, 2013 Shelly was also nominated for Female Country Vocalist and Fan's Choice with the Alberta Country Music Association of Alberta.

On May 29th, 2012, Shelly released her latest single "This Town" to Canadian Country Music radio. Produced by CCMA award winning producer Bart McKay and written by multiple award winning songwriter Gretchen Peters, Shelly felt that "This Town" would be a song that would connect with her fans. "It's a song that reminds of my home town and I felt that it would do the same for my fans".
