Rocky The Hooligan was born Alex Noah Salas on March 16, 1988 in San Diego, CA. During the early years of his life he grew up in the small town of Calipatria, CA where most of his mother's side of the family lived. At age 7 he moved to Kansas City, MO with his mother and older sister in search for a better life. At age 12 he started rapping for fun with his neighborhood friend Lester. Around that time he got involved in the gang life and started running with local gangs E.S.L.(East Side Locos) and B.P.F.(Brown Pride Familia). He then recorded his first demo called "Brown Pride Gangsta" in honor of his gang and the life that goes with it. What started as a hobby soon became a way of expressing himself and telling stories of everyday life in the hood. After that he used every opportunity he had to record music. He called up studios to set up recording sessions or recorded at home studios with friends. He was then inspired to go by the name Hooligan after a producer overheard his session and said "Who's this young hooligan in the booth? He's good!"
Years went by but the recording never stopped and in 2008 he released a compilation of all his favorite songs entitled "On Every Blokc The Mixtape". It wasn't until after taking the advice of his friend and fellow rapper Uzi Boo that he changed his name to Rocky The Hooligan because that's what most people new him as. It wasn't until 2010 after being released from county jail that he started hitting the studio once again. With new lyrics, new instrumentals and good friend Martin Martinez it didn't take long for the first few songs to reach the ears of his cousins. His cousins Chavo, Negro and Chunx immediately started attending sessions and recorded as well. Chavo being the entrepreneur he is decided to invest in his own studio equipment which then inspired Chaos Jos and Joseph Chavez to join the action. Thus, the group was born and took on the name Feria Fetish after a line from one of Chavo's verses saying "Fuck fakes I got a Feria Fetish Focus". Now with six cousins on board and committed to making quality music to reach the masses, it looks like there is no end in sight for the Hourglass Gang.
