Native of Tennessee and born into a musical family, Linda Barnett was encouraged to grow in her love of music from an early age. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from East Tennessee State University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Music from University of Tennessee at Knoxville. During her time at UTK, Linda sang the roles of Angelica in Puccini's 'Suor Angelica', Contessa Almaviva in Mozart's 'Le nozze di Figaro', Mimi in Puccini's 'La Boheme', and Female Chorus in Benjamin Britten's 'The Rape of Lucretia'. Linda will be reprising her role as Female Chorus in Merola Opera Program's production of 'The Rape of Lucretia' in July 2013 in San Francisco, CA.
