“Native from Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Marcela Campos started her first notes on guitar at age 16. After taking private lessons with the renown brazilian guitar player Roger Franco for a while, she started playing on the scene of her city, and giving guitar lessons as well. Since 2008 she is engaged with the EXPOMUSIC (the biggest music product trade show from Latin America), where she has been performing for GNI Pedals.
Marcela came to the US to sharpen her skills at Los Angeles College of Music (LACM), under the instruction of great players as Tariqh Akoni (Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Carlos Santana, Joss Stone), Jody Fisher (Mike Stern, Joe Diorio, George Benson), Art Renshaw (Joe Pass, Frank Gambale), Philip Bynoe ( Steve Vai).
After one year and a half of intense studies, she graduated from LACM and is recording her first album."
