Published recording artists Patti Ryan and Michelle Kaye are emerging from the Twin Cities music scene as Minnesota’s newest songwriting team! Ryan, a Singer Songwriter, and Kaye, a Film and TV Composer, are established musicians in their own right.
In this unlikely marriage of artistic approach and genre, the two found that each of their personal missions in creating music, that being to extend healing love and compassion to all people and communities, are parallel. Each with high appreciation for the other's distinctly different style, Ryan and Kaye have discarded genre limitations to create undeniably heartfelt songs in the spirit of human resiliency.
Patti Ryan hails from her band "Inukshuk Pass", in which she is the songwriter and lead vocalist. She has plenty of live shows and radio airplay under her belt as her band has toured the regional circuit promoting their original folk rock music from two full length CD’s. Patti’s composition “Brother of Mine” received an Honorable Mention award presented by Billboard’s World Song Contest, “A Survivors Song” is featured on Minnesota musicians compilation project “Home Again…Songs of the 21st Century Veteran Experience” and three of her songs supplied the soundtrack for Minnesota made documentary film “Life Lipstick and Laughter” produced by “The Art of Beauty” guru, Maria Camille.
Michelle Kaye has also been played in the local music scene and appeared on NBC KARE 11's "Showcase Minnesota." She has written, performed and produced seven full-length albums over the last four years. Her sound is anywhere from peaceful to funky. Currently her music is being broadcast around the world, through station KLEDLive out of Los Angeles, California. Her works can also be heard in the soon to be released Minnesota made film "Boys Cry." Collaborating with two other artists as well, Michelle Kaye is rapidly becoming a sought-after composer.
Rich and genuine emotion comes through when the two women, once strangers, now sisters in spirit, come together to bring forth a surprisingly fresh vibe. The collaboration has been a smooth and successful journey. The raw talent which each of these ladies brings to the table is pure magic when combined, but they would tell you it is divine intervention.
