Stereo-Type / Bio

We are Stereo-Type, and we are a progressive, alternative, and
punk band based in Orlando. We started about a year ago, all
playing instruments excessively for the past ten years. Vince,
playing melodic, yet punk, riffs on the guitar and following after
vocalist idols such as Dave Grohl ( Foo Fighters), Kurdt Cobain
( Nirvana), and Matthew Bellamy ( Muse). Bassist, Nate, finds
influence inspired by Matthew Bellamy and Christopher Wolstenholme (Muse), Mutemath,
and Saosin. Then, finally, Brian, torching a
progressive metal sound inspired by the likes of Matt Halpern
( Periphery), Matt Gartska ( Animals As Leaders), and Mike Mangini
( Dream Theater).
We are young, loud, powerful, and want to put out a positive
message; which is why we write out of pure experience. We want
to educate people that are experiencing what we have been
through so then we can relate to hard situations in life and
possibly help those in need. It helps to understand. The fans are
and always will be our motivation for the future.
Our sound is incredibly different from what you would
commonly hear today. Two out of the three of us are very into the
90's punk era, namely Nate and Vince, which places the band's
genre into that of alternative punk. Brian, staying particular to
metal, adds to our progressiveness. Most people for which we
have played become strongly addicted, and we hope that we have
the same impact on you! We look forward to playing before you
and will make sure to be nothing but respectful, loud, inspiring,
and entertaining. We are Stereo-Type!
