“Feels Like The First Time”
Vandelyn Kross is a Kansas City based Rock band that was formed in 1984. During the 80’s, VK toured the Central United States and established themselves as one of the Premier 80’s Rock cover bands in the Midwest. VK also wrote and performed several originals and were pursing aspirations to obtain a recording contract but unfortunately due to creative and personal differences, VK inevitably changed band members over time which ultimately led to their split in 1989.
“The Boys Are Back In Town”
Reforming in 2007, VK has once again established themselves as a Premier 80’s Rock Band performing covers and originals, performing at reputable clubs, casino’s, state fairs, private parties, benefit events, including opening for regional and national acts such as Skid Row, Eddie Money, Shooting Star and Starship. The current lineup for VK features three of four of the original founding band members: Todd Pettygrove (Lead Vocalist), Randy Walker (Bass), Chet Galloway (Lead Guitar) along with their original Sound/Light Tech, Jack Stubbs. In 2012, Shane Proctor (Drummer) joined VK.
If you love 80’s hard rock, you will absolutely love VK as they “Rock You Like A Hurricane” and after seeing and hearing them “Lay It Down” you will wonder how in the 80’s they could have possibly ever gone their “Separate Ways.”
