Raised in Columbus, OH, Rachel "TripleR" Reese cultivated a love of poetry and writing at a young age. After being dared in jest to write a rap song, TripleR entered her middle school talent show and immediantly fell in love with Hip Hop. She released her first mixtape, "The Calm Before the Storm", in 2005 and began networking with artists from Seattle to New York.
After releasing her second mixtape, The Puppetmaster, TripleR took a three year hiatus from the music scene. Joining a church in Columbus and dedicating her time and energy into her walk with the Lord. In 2011, a head on collision with a commercial dump truck left TripleR with severe limitations and a traumatic brain injury. Spending the next several years and even now, TripleR has been relearning how to live life with the new limitations in front of her.
In 2013, she released the Cambodian Coffee EP as a means of raising money for her churches yearly missions trip to Cambodia. Until now, the Cambodian Coffee EP has been her last released work. However, summer 2014 has promised new music from TripleR in the form of a new mixtape series, "The Blurred Lens", which is set to start with the mixtape "Manual Focus" to be released late summer at an undetermined date.
