Dynasty Electric is an electronic rock duo from Brooklyn, NY. Since their inception, the group has earned critical praise, had their music featured in television and film, and toured the world on the strength of their unique blend of folk, rock and electronic pop. Their newest single “Morning Was on Fire” is a dream pop masterpiece.
“Morning Was on Fire” comes on the heels of their Summer 2014 single “Raw Honey”, which generated a buzz on Youtube with 170k views. The group’s history began with an electro-punk single “Hypnotized” that received critical praise from the Village Voice and was featured in an MTV commercial starring the band. Dynasty Electric then worked with hip-hop mogul Damon Dash who paired the group with legendary producer Ski Beatz for the album “Golden Arrows”, the lead single of which became the soundtrack for a Victoria’s Secret commercial. The album was also cited by iHeartRadio, NME, and RCRD LBL. The group’s follow up self-titled album featured the single “Electric Love”, with guest artist Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, as well as tracks with DJ Logic, David Maurice, and Ski Beatz. The album received praise in NYLON, We are Hunted, and Black Book. The album’s second single “Eye Wide Open” aired on MTV2’s 120 Minutes and was used as the soundtrack for a national Bath and Bodyworks commercial. In 2013 Dynasty Electric collaborated with Indaba Music, a social network for musicians and producers, to create a new album “Euphoria”, an international collaboration between the band and fans. The lead single “Supersonic” was licensed for use on the Microsoft Surface.
Over the years, Dynasty Electric has toured Japan, Taiwan, Canada, the Dominican Republic and all over the United States.
